JAY LEVY, CFA
Founding Partner
Before starting CMPD12, Jay worked at Lazard Asset Management as a portfolio manager on the US Concentrated product. Prior to Lazard Jay worked at several hedge funds in New York City, namely Diamonback Capital, Carlson Capital and Millennium Asset Management as an analyst and portfolio manager. Jay is a graduate of Michigan State University with a BA in Finance where he played on the lacrosse team. He is married with two girls and lives in College Grove, TN.
CHRIS BLAKE
Founding Partner
Prior to CMPD12, Chris was a Managing Director at Lazard Asset Management from 1995 until 2024. During his tenure at Lazard Chris managed three strategies (US Mid Cap, US Strategic Equity and US Concentrated) ranging from $3 to $15 billion. Chris founded Lazard's US Concentrated strategy in 2003 growing it to approximately $8 billion at its peak. Chris holds a BSBA from the University of Denver, 1995. Chris is married with two girls and lives in Brentwood, TN.
